We visited for late lunch on a Sunday. Last week of August. Sat at the terrace because we have a giant dog breed and we are always looking for places where we can sit with our dog and have enough space without bothering other guests. This restaurant has a large terrace with nice shades. We felt very welcome with our dog. Food was very tasty. We chose the 2 course lunch meal (appetizer and main course). The 2 appetizers were different meat versions (1 fish the other tartar beef) with pear wine to accompany it. Main dish was a delicious steak with vegetables and roasted hazelnuts. Nice combination of flavors and textures. Our waiters was ver kind and friendly explaining all the dishes in english and with the wine recommendations. Portions as usual in good quality restaurants are modest, yet we were fully satisfied and full enough to skip dessert. We will come back for that as we noticed others having the cheese board and sweet dessert with coffee. Price may seem high but it was worth it. Fully recommend to experience the warm lunch experience.

The food is very tasteful, unique. Delicious. Everything I've tasted. The portion sizes are small though, only a main course will not fill you up. If you have special dietary request, they will gladly change your order for you. There are many vegetarian options, even though many of them are not on the carte. Just ask a waiter, they will provide you with more choises or information. There is a chance it will take some time to get the food though. We had to wait quite some time for the meals, but it didn't really bother us.

Our dinner here was soooo good. The restaurant is situated in the middle of the green meadows and little canals, with plenty of parking and bike racks. The food served here is all locally sourced. They have a 3, 4, or 5 course surprise menu, allowing for dietary restrictions and preferences. You can also choose to eat a la carte if you don't want to be surprised. We had a lovely dinner outside on a warm summer evening, starting with a berry gin and tonic, with 4 dishes that included local zander (fish) and steak. Everything was nicely decorated with local veggies and some flowers. Service was excellent. This is not a cheap restaurant, but the perfect location for a special-night-out. Recommended!

Even though our reservation with DinningCity was not found we were heartedly welcomed on Valentine Days. The food is well balanced, inventive and good. The setting is in the green heart of The Netherlands in a picturesque village of Waddinxveen.

Very good restaurant, friendly staff who take allergies seriously so you can safely eat delicious food. Overall a great experience. It does get pretty loud when all tables are occupied as it is one open space. But would definitely come back.
